Silvia

Silvia Persica was born in Rome where she studied and graduated at the Art School. Later she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts.

She moved to London in 2000, is passionate about the world of Make-up and studied at the City Of Westminster College earning a Graduate Diploma in Professional Make-up. Afterwards she was working with MTV UK, BBC, Channel4. She took care of the make-up of artists such as Paul McCartney, Skin, Boy George, Joseph Fiennes, Willem Dafoe, Leona Lewis, Tony Servillo, Jane Alexander, Asia Argento, Riccardo Scamarcio, Laura Morante, Luca Argentero, Micaela Ramazzotti, Carolina Crescentini, Sarah Felberbaum and many others, and she is also involved as a Make-up Artist for London Fashion Week attending  and collaborating with leading Make-up Artists in the world.

Back in Italy in 2008 she took care of the look of advertising and photo shoots for various fashion magazines, including Vogue, and collaborates with photographers like Gianpaolo Barbieri, Emanuele Mascioni, Tony Kelly, Winkler & Noa, Sham Hinchey (Marsham Street), Lorenzo Pesce, Roberta Krasnig. She took  care of the make-up of the global advertising campaign of cosmetics Boots n°7. Work with Luca Tommassini for several video clips for artists such as Coolio and her make-up is also in the videos of Daniele Silvestri, J-AX, Raf, Max Pezzali, Nek, Emma Marrone, Tiro Mancino, Biagio Antonacci, Piero Pelù, Giusy Ferreri , Baustelle, Giorgia, Negrita, Mina and Aftehours and many others including recently Baby K and Giusy Ferreri. For years she is the personal Make-up Artist taking care of the looks of Luciano Ligabue, Emma Marrone and Nina Palmieri.

Collaborated in 2013 with the installation by Anri Sala "Unravel" for the Biennale di Venezia French Pavilion. She was working on the sets of many films, including: "Habemus Papam" by Nanni Moretti, "Walking On Sunshine" by Dana Pasquini, "La sedia della felicità” by Carlo Mazzacurati, "Point Break" by Ericson Core, "Sole a catinelle" by Gennaro Nunziante and Checco Zalone and lately "Stratton - First in to action" by Simon West.

In 2014 she opens in Lecce her own "International Makeup Academy MAKE-UP ART" where she teaches and transfers to the students her knowledge, techniques and art of makeup, even with practice sessions directly in photo shoots, film and video clips.
